There is another tradition,  Easter bonnet parede. Children make beautiful hats at home with Spring and Easter motif,and they have special celebractions at school.

WHAT DO THEY  LOOK LIKE?

Do they have long blond hair?
Do they have short brown curly hair?
Do they have straight hair?

January 30th,  cebrating Day of The Peace.

Let´s sing and add new sentences to these...

Peace - an End

Peace is a word
of the sea and the wind.
Peace is a bird who sings

as you smile.
Peace is the love

of a foe as a friend;
Peace is the love you bring

to a child.

Searching for me

you look everywhere,
except beside you.
Searching for you

you look everywhere,
but not inside you.

Peace is a stream

from the heart of a man;
Peace is a man, whose breadth

is the dawn.
Peace is a dawn

on a day without end;
Peace is the end, like death

of the war.

Kim Crimson

Here you are my  sentence:
PEACE  is an organized peaceful protest.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Here we are again. Christmas is over and now it´s time to work. We have already started.
  "TOYS" is our topic now.

5 LITTLE GINGERBREAD MEN...

We are all getting very excited about Christmas. We still have lots to prepare. At home, please do practice this song.

CHRISTMAS SONG
We are learning this song, and  please practice at home, Santa Claus is coming to town.

CHRISTMAS IS HERE!

I know it seems a bit early, but it´s almost here. Next week we´ll start making decorations, learning new vocabulary related to Christmas and family, learning  songs and  more...
We need a little help from you. We would like to make a big Xmas tree for one of our walls. We want to make it out of boxes and that is why we need you to decorate one with your children.
This is only an idea, but  you´ll probably have much better ones.

RETIRO PARK
We  have been busy learning about Retiro Park. We have learnt about different animals, plants, statues and other curiosities.
Did you know thereis a tree which is 450 years old?

In Retiro Park there is a nice pond where there are ducks, carps and boats.

  You can have a picnic there sitting on the grass and spend a nice time in one of the playgrounds.
In the play grounds there are slides, seasaws, swings...

There are squirrels, ducks, swams, peacoks, people walkind dogs, and there are also cats.

 Last Tuesday we spent the hole day there. Some parents came with us.
It was a bit cold and foggy, but we really enjoyed it.
We took a bus from Tirso de Molina square, we walked along the park, we were picking up autumn leaves and chesnuts, we had lunch there and play a lot in the playground.
It was a great day.
